A 2.5D space shooter that combines 3D graphics with 2D sprites. Robocoders move into Unity and C sharp, do 3D modelling in Blender, create 2D sprites, and produce their own animations and sound effects.

Unity’s workspace, its scenes and folders, and how they organise a game.

Modelling a player in 3D, colouring it, and bringing it into Unity.

Turning key presses into movement.

Enemies that move by themselves, made once and used many times.

Shooting system
Bullets that fly and hit, with collisions.

Health and lives on screen, as they happen.

A score, and a game that gets harder as it goes.

Sound and visual effects that make the game feel alive.

The badge book
