Response

This is the conversation we have most often with SEND families. Mainstream classrooms are loud, inconsistent, and socially exhausting for many of the children we see.

Robocode is built differently. Same room, same Mentor, same time, every week. Up to eight children per session. Quiet, focused, hands-on.

A Robocode Mentor working through a build alongside a Robocoder, the same Mentor each week.

Four things we get right for SEND families.

P.01

Named instructor.
Your child sees the same person every week. We won't rotate them around.

P.02

Small groups.
Maximum eight per class. Quieter, slower, more individual attention.

P.03

Predictable rhythm.
Same day, same time, same room. The activity flow each week is the same too, so there are no surprises.

P.04

No peer grading.
Every child works at their own pace. We don't rank, score, or compare children in front of each other.

Reassurance

If your child needs continuity, please tell us at the assessment. We’ll match them with a Mentor who suits them, and keep them with that Mentor.

Bring them in. We'll go at their pace.
