Childcare and fundingWe are registered childcare.
Robocode is an Ofsted registered childcare setting. So the help you already have a right to can pay for your child's classes here.

How families pay less
Four routes. Tax-Free Childcare cannot be used alongside Universal Credit or childcare vouchers.
Tax-Free Childcare
For every £8 you pay into a government childcare account, the government adds £2. That is up to £2,000 a year for each child, or £4,000 for a disabled child. You then pay us from the account.

Childcare funding you claim back yourself, not a discount. You pay our price, keep our receipt, and claim back up to 85% in your Universal Credit account. Eligibility depends on your circumstances.

If you joined your employer's scheme on or before 4 October 2018, you can still pay us with it. Edenred, Computershare and similar providers are accepted. The schemes are closed to new joiners.

Free holiday camp places for children who get free school meals. Your council runs it and opens the bookings. Same camp, same Mentors, no cost.

Robocode is registered with Ofsted under URN 2715831 . Your centre's own Ofsted number is the number a scheme asks for. It is on your receipts where your centre is registered, or ask your centre.
We issue a dated receipt for every payment, showing the child, the dates covered and the amount. That is what a childcare account or a claim needs.
If a scheme asks us for something we have not covered here, tell us what they need and we will send it.
The step-by-step Universal Credit guide
Claiming through Universal Credit is a few screens on GOV.UK. Our guide walks you through each one.
Download the Universal Credit guideThe steps are the same at every centre. The guide uses our Solihull centre as its example, marked in red.
